I am going to start this blog today with my crazy dream last night - or what I can remember of it. I was teaching music when I realized I had to leave for the day to get to the first day of training at my new job (which I just happen to start tomorrow), but things just kept getting in the way and I could not get there. For example - the principal needed to talk to me, the students needed to sing to me, the doors at the school were locked, my car wouldn't start, the directions to training were incorrect and lead me back to school ... when I finally made it to training, I was told it was too late and the position was given to someone else. Then I woke up and I had to take it all in. What was my brain thinking? Am I supposed to stay in teaching? Am I anxious about starting a new career path? Or did I drink a little too much wine last night? Only time will tell I suppose ...
Worked an event for Alive & Radiant Kale Krunch at the Whole Foods this afternoon. The store was packed! I almost sold out of the entire product too. Afterwards, the husband and I met my in-laws at Leyden Farm & Winery for a wine tasting. They bought us a groupon for the place. I was pleasantly surprised. They are not part of the Coastal Wine Trail, so not too many people know about it. I recommend giving it a try for sure. Not only do have fruit wine blends, but also some nice reds.
The tasting was followed by dinner at the in-laws home and now we are home and ready to relax before bed. Summer vacation is officially over starting tomorrow.
