Headed to Connecticut today to finally pick up a bottle of the almond wine at Dalice Elizabeth Vineyard. Last time we were there they weren't bottling it. Next we went to Saltwater Farm Vineyard, which we visit at least once a year. Still as good as the first time we visited. Then, lunch at a little place on the water, The Seahorse Restaurant, which we found on yelp. It was good, but perhaps we are spoiled in Rhode Island, but the portion of the fish & chips was extremely small for the money we paid, so that was a bit of a disappointment. Because we were so close, we decided to head to Foxwoods and play a few slots and take in the air conditioning before heading home. Jeremy lost $11, and I won $12.63, so we pretty much broke even, but had a good time doing it. Yay for penny slots! While we were there I found out Sarah McLachlan was performing tonight. I checked on ticket prices, but $75/person seemed a little steep for me, as much as I love her. Got home at a decent hour and it's been a relaxing evening, though I miss the air conditioning - but only a little.
