Busy morning followed by a slow afternoon at work today. Tomorrow will be a half day for me, so I predict completing my on-site training early next week. I am in no hurry to finish as there is so much more responsibility when my trainer leaves my side. Put in my time-off request for Mardi Gras. Let's hope it no one else wants that week off so it will get approved. Fingers crossed as we already bought our plane tickets. Couldn't pass it up as prices went down so much to Baton Rouge that it was like a buy-one-get-one-free flight deal. Total savings of $360, compared to last years flight.
My attempt to stay awake this afternoon when I arrived home failed. Took my normal 2-hour nap, but could have slept longer. I asked my husband to wake me up in case. Can't sleep the entire day away or I won't sleep tonight.
Watching the Olympics and having Steak on the grill tonight. The cats are still a little confused with the new furniture set up in the living room. It's funny to watch them.
