Worked this morning. Worked this afternoon. Worked this evening. This girl is tired and I will do it all over again tomorrow.
A woman I have been babysitter for since her twins were newborn (they are 3 now) was in a pickle and needed emergency coverage this week. I agreed to help her out, so as soon as I finished my morning shift, I headed over to her place. Her kiddos are pretty darn fantastic, so I didn't mind at all. When they took their nap, guess what I did? After babysitting, I headed home to teach a voice lesson with a student I have had since the spring. You wouldn't have even known she had taken 2 months off from lessons. I was highly impressed with how much her voice grew and developed over the summer!
Speaking of lessons, I have had so many students drop due to busy schedules and/or money issues, that I am thinking of offering a monthly master class, which would allow students to take a 1-hour vocal class with each other for a lower price. I think it might actually work great for all!
And now, I am off to bed early. With another long day ahead of me tomorrow, I am going to need the sleep.
