I love my voice students. They learn a lot from me and I learn a lot from them. So much, I am interested in actually studying vocal pedagogy. Unfortunately, I don't really have the money to go back to grad school and obtain yet another degree, so I will continue to look for workshops and classes that I can attend in order grow as a voice teacher.
My cold has moved to the sinuses, which is tremendously annoying. It makes my head throb and also a rough day at work. Thank goodness for only a 5-hour shift. I will say it again - sucks to be sick. Drinking lots of fluids, Teas with antioxidants, Emergen-C, Zicam, Soup, Musinex-D etc. I realize mixing Emergen-C and Zicam defeat the purpose, but that's why I spread it out and take them at different times throughout the day. But my question, is there such thing as pumping yourself with too many antioxidants?
As I see postings for full-time positions, most are hourly wages. When I do the math, I am getting paid just as much to work part-time as I would to work the full-time shift. Why would I want to give up this job unless the full-time position is one of the careers I listed as a "dream job" in a previous post?
