After fixing an amazing omelette breakfast for my husband this morning, we headed to Horseneck Beach, to spend a few hours in the sun. It was dead, which I love since it is post-season, the beach is much more enjoyable with less people. And the waves, due to hurricane Isaac were amazing! In the afternoon, knowing storms were supposed to be headed our way, we stopped at Just Beer to fill our growlers, then to Travessia for a wine club event. Never a disappointment, and we are super excited they are doing an event Octoberfest event that will include Just Beer, as well as some others, as vendors. But this time, we got to sip on wine, while pairing it with delicious truffles from Brigadeiro Barn. TREMENDOUS!  Looking forward to next month for sure!
