2 and a half hours.  That's how long it took for my security clearance interview, and it's not over yet.  He reviewed every place of residence and job I have held in the past 10 years.  If you can believe - 40 jobs.  Each one needed a contact name, address, and phone number.  He was impressed I was able to stay organized and keep track of all the positions and joked I should become an accountant.  By the time he got to 'military experience' he joked once again when I said I was never in the service "Finally, a job you haven't done!"  But I informed him I have been working on changing that if one of the military choruses finally accepts me! He also joked "So, tell me, what DO you want to do when you grow up?" and he encouraged me to continue to follow my dream - which is exactly what I intend to do.  This job is one of many to add to my list of 40+ before Broadway calls.

Had dinner at a Delta Skymiles Dining recommended restaurant tonight in order to collect some bonus miles.  (So close to another free flight!) Arturo Joe's is an excellent Italian restaurant in Narragansett.  My husband and his family have been there numerous times and I highly recommend it.  The portion sizes are HUGE and well worth the price of the plate.  Also, the best calamari appetizer I have had in all of Rhode Island!  I left with a full belly and at least 2 days worth of leftovers.
