Why am I so tired today? This morning at work one of my co-workers asked me if I was alright because I wasn't smiling as much as I usually do. Is smiling a requirement? I have been lagging all day. It seemed like my shift would never end. Once home, I ate breakfast, caught up on some DVR, but then headed to bed for my daily nap. Had no trouble passing out for 2 hours. Afterwards, I caught up on some more DVR, and decided going for a run might bring me more energy. Ran a mile in a little under 10 minutes (I know, I am slow), but alas, my body still wasn't feeling it. Guess I am going to have these days every once in a while, especially with such an early schedule. I am going to bed around 8pm each night - usually asleep between 9-9:30pm, my alarm goes off at 3am and I am out of bed by 3:15am each morning (minus Friday and Saturday), then home again by 9:45am.
Perhaps the entire week will feel this way (ugh!) knowing I am headed out of town Thursday afternoon (after my morning shift) through Sunday night. Monday morning is not going to come easy next week seeing as our flight arrives Sunday night at 10pm and I have to be back at 4:30am! At least it will be a lovely weekend in Virginia with friends. I am not going to want to leave.
