August 4

wow.  too tired to even find time to blog.  Is there another word for extreme exhaustion?  Because that's how I feel.

Last night I worked on a feature film with a call time of 4pm.  I knew that meant a long evening.  Upon arrival and having hair/makeup/wardrobe take a look at us, we were sent to catering for dinner.  And boy was it a dinner!  They were setting up an ice sculpture just for the giant shrimp cocktail display.  The meal ended up being a surf and turf theme, complete with lobster.  It was a good day to be on set.  Once the sun began to go down, we were sent to the party boat, where the 50 of us would spend the rest of the evening.  Yup, I spent the evening pretending to party on an actual boat in the Boston Harbor.  Even also got to watch the gorgeous sunset from there.  Only shot one scene, so it ended up being a short 8-hour day.  Got home around 1am and went straight to bed.

Slept as long as I could, which ended up being around 9am, then headed out to a local joint for breakfast.  Dropped off laundry, ran a few errands, then headed to a family reunion at the cousin-in-laws ginormous house in middle-of-nowhere-country, Rhode Island - including pool, stable, and horses.  Great to get to know some more local family, but so exhausted, it was tough to be social.  We left before campfire, s'mores, and outdoor movie.  Bummer, but I knew I had to work tomorrow morning.  We will definitely return when and spend time there when I am not so tired.
