Posting from my phone for now. I miss my laptop. Bad news is I think the hard drive crashed. Will have to take care of that when I get back to Rhode Island. But for now, after a 6 1/2 hour drive from BWI, I'm in Lynchburg!!!!
Highlights:
My husband hates DC rush hour traffic. He has no patience.
Stopped at South Street Brewery in Charlottesville for dinner. Very good food and beer.
Speed limit is 60 on most on 29. Since when?
My 29 - the drive I always took to get to Lynchburg - is now business 29 once in Amherst. The new 29 speed limit goes up to 70. What???!?!
I have never seen so many winery signs on 29. Is this a new fad? But which ones to visit on the way home?????
