Happy Birthday to my daddy!
After hurricane Sandy blew through, we were very lucky to have no damage, not even a flicker of the lights. The weather is fantastic today. A lovely 60 degrees, so I decided to take a short run and check out the rest of the neighborhood. The watermarks in yards and on homes showed signs of the tide getting pretty high last night. But it does seem that most were spared and doing well around the water.
Due to the storm however, my entire schedule is screwed. I already had a lot on my plate, but now I have even more. Something is going to have to go. I do hope everyone understands and is flexible in the coming weeks.
Work called this afternoon to check up on me and make sure we survived the storm. That was nice - but I do think they just wanted to make sure I would be ready to work tomorrow morning. ha!
Teaching a voice lesson tonight then carving our pumpkin finally. My husband doesn't care for the carving, he just wants the pumpkin seeds! YUM!
