Happy Halloween AND Happy Birthday to the founder of Girl Scouts - Juliette Gordon Low! Planning to go to a haunted house created by one of my husbands co-workers. Otherwise, keeping it an uneventful night. Typically, we go to a Halloween party at my husbands friends house, but this year, he didn't host one. Plus, I have to go to bed early. We never did carve our pumpkin, so we will probably also do that tonight.
Slow day at work this morning, I was shocked! Got home, changed my clothes, then headed to Boston Casting to audition for a MA Lottery Commercial. The audition didn't require any speaking, in fact, it only required me to hug someone and then reverse the role and react to being hugged. I was given very little direction, but my scene partner got many takes on camera, so it could have gone either way - the casting director wasn't interested in me thus the lack of direction, or I was SO good I didn't need any direction. I can only hope it was the latter. There were over 100 people auditioning for what I believe is 2 female and 2 male roles. Would be nice to get it. Either way, it was yet another experience to record in the books.
