I warn you, this might be a little graphic. Woke up around 3am, ran to the bathroom, ended up pooping out one end while puking out the other. UGH. Perhaps I drank too much last night? Spent the rest of the evening tossing and turning. This morning I have a killer headache and an upset stomach. Hangovers suck. But, last night was worth it. Such good food with perfect wine pairings. I think though, it must have been all too rich for me. Yet, I cannot wait for another event like this.
Also, this morning we have a Power Ball winner - in RHODE ISLAND?!?!?!? We bought 5 tickets on the way to CT, but alas, none of ours were winners.
Tonight are the Grammy's. They will pay tribute to Whitney Houston. I sure hope they don't just throw this together. I have high expectations considering how great and inspiring this woman was. Just last week when I was talking about the music involved in the Super Bowl this year with my students, I mentioned Whitney and how I thought her rendition of the National Anthem was #1 on my list, followed by the recent performance by Kelly Clarkson. Most of the kids had no idea who I was talking about. I told them to look her up on youtube. I wonder if any of them did? Whitney will most definitely be the topic of conversation this week in class. No doubt.
