Today at the OBGYN I found out I lost 13 lbs since last visiting a year ago! WOOHOO! I still have 5 dreaded lbs to go ... and these seem to be the hardest. I got a year to do it, so I think it's definitely possible. Also, now that I am married, the topic with the doctor turned to "are you thinking about having children?" GOD NO! Even if I wanted children, we simply cannot afford it.
Took on a new voice student tonight. She is EXTREMELY shy, so this will be my challenge for the coming weeks - making her comfortable. But, as with most of the students I start with, I am always faced with some sort of challenge, and now they are blossoming, so I am excited to work with her. Plus, she is obsessed with Les Miserables, how can I not like her?
