It's always nice to catch up with people you haven't seen for a while. Since we had a small wedding in November, today we had an informal wedding celebration at Gram's. I had a few theatre friends and film friends come who I haven't seen in a while. One of the best parts - FACE CAKE! I have never seen my face on a cake, so that was impressive and quite the treat. Since we had Key Lime Pie at our wedding, we didn't have cake to take home and save in the freezer for our one year anniversary - now we do. Not to mention the food was superb with loads of leftovers. We will be eating for days.
It's on days like these I am reminded how thankful I am for everyone in my life. I am truly a lucky girl.
