Another audition lesson learned. If you are going to postpone your auditions, please update your website with that information so that I don't show up a 2nd time to once again find an empty building. I have put almost 300 miles on my car in just 2 days due to these auditions.
This morning I auditioned for the Brown University/Trinity Rep MFA Acting program. My nerves most definitely got the best of me. I got through both my monologues, but didn't feel as though they were done with "truth". The guy behind the table asked me for a 3rd piece, but unfortunately, I didn't prepare one, thus feeling unprepared. He did ask me to sing though, so that was a relief and a nice way to end the audition. Over 300 people auditioned for this program and he can only select 15, so my chances are slight. I REALLY REALLY want it, however, this is one audition I can 99% say I won't get.
