Been shopping around for flights to Baton Rouge in order to make it to Aunt Maureen's funeral. No such luck. Cheapest flight $1200. I simply do not have the money. It's a shame because I would really like to be there. Sometimes it really sucks to live so far away. I miss my family.
It's the week before February break, so the kids are bouncing off the walls. This does not make life easy for a teacher. I am absolutely exhausted, and it's only Tuesday - ugh - plus my voice is already aching. I have auditions this weekend, I simply cannot afford to lose my voice AGAIN.
