2 years ago I applied for a part-time job.  About a week after applying, I went in for a pre-screening test and passed with flying colors.  After that, I heard nothing until last year.  I got an automated email asking me to begin the background check.  Fast forward to February of this year - a call asking me to come in for another test and an interview.  Once again, passed.  I was informed I wouldn't hear anything until March, so be patient.  March passed.  April did too.  Nothing.  Finally in May, an email stating there were currently no positions open, but those of us being contacted had completed the entire application process and would be placed in the waiting pool for the next 9 months.

Now the good news ... Yesterday, I received a call offering me the position.  Today, I gladly accepted.  Though it is only 25 hours a week, and the hours suck (4:30am-9:30am), the benefit package is just one too hard to pass up.  Training will be full-time over the summer, and by the end of August, if I pass the final test, I will be have an excellent part-time job that could grow into something more.

Because of all of this, I have had to put a halt on lessons during the month of July and August.  Once I figure out my sleep schedule, I will continue those lessons for my additional source of income.  Not to mention, I will still be able to audition and be a part of shows with these work hours.

I WILL MAKE THIS WORK!
