Today was a day of errands. Trying to get everything done before starting the new job. Made a Vet appt. for next week, stopped at the bank to deposit some paychecks, bought a pair of Khaki shorts from WalMart for this weekends promo, and finally to CVS for a few much needed items.
I took a chance and finally pulled size 6 shorts from the rack. Though my size 8's are a bit loose, I am still in disbelief that I have lost so much weight in the past year, so I didn't want to be disappointed if the 6's didn't fit. To my surprise, every pair I tried on fit perfect!
I felt pretty fantastic saving $15 at CVS today with my super couponing - granted I didn't need everything I bought right away, but I only spent $15 total.
Taught a few lessons today. One student is preparing for American Idol and another is singing at an open mic night next week. Both gave me kudos on my teaching today. Talk about a major ego boost. Sometimes I wonder how good my techniques are and if it is really helping my students - but this was a definite confirmation. In addition, so far none of my students will be leaving me while I take my 2 month hiatus. I must be doing something right. GO ME!
