Went to bed late last night, so I was hoping to sleep in. The chain saw next door had a different idea. Spent the morning putting together a voice studio policy and contract for my students to sign. No more canceling on me last minute.
Went grocery shopping, then picked up my car from the shop. $627 to replace the battery and alternator. YIKES. But at least it's fixed. First big repair I have had to put on the car.
Had a Jersey Mike's sub for lunch. Never been there before. YUM! I will definitely return. Now, just relaxing until my first lesson of the day at 4pm. 2 more to follow after. Also, booked a new student. YAY!
With school almost over, I am still wondering what I am going to do about making money this summer. After my 'Titanic' audition, I had high hopes of not necessarily being cast, but at least getting hired to be a part of the summer camp. Since the audition seemed to have gone well, and I was asked to prepare a monologue for the callback - I haven't heard anything. Not even about the actual callbacks, AND rehearsals are supposed to begin this week. Makes me wonder if they completely changed their mind about me. It has happened before, so it wouldn't surprise me at all.
Looks like it's back to searching for work ...
