What a tragedy in Newtown, CT. A friend of mine is from Newtown. Her nephew goes to the school where the shooting happened. The following FB status warmed my heart: "Just skyped with Kenneth - what a brave boy. He told me he was hiding in the music closet and the bad guys were trying to get in the room. He was prepared to "go captain America" on them." Children are the bravest.
Today during work I was lagging. When I got home, I couldn't do my workout, I just wanted to go to bed. So that's exactly what I did. Slept for a good 2 hours. Eventually got myself out of bed and did my 55 minute workout. Wasn't sure it was going to happen, but I knew I needed to do it.
Tonight, is "date night" as my husband gets out of work early and I do not have any voice lessons to teach. We are using a coupon to Smokey Bones. Haven't been there in some time, so I am looking forward to it.
