Slept in this morning. When I finally got out of bed, I decided to go ahead and try to workout. I did the simple 30 minute exercise routine I started with 4 weeks ago. Tomorrow starts Week 5 of 6, but I will take it slowly as my back is still bugging me.
Wrapped all the gifts, then headed out to take care of a cat. I am cat sitting for the week.
Tonight we head over to the in-laws house for dinner with them, and my brother-in-law and his wife who are in town from California. We will then all head to the Christmas Eve church service.
It's hard to believe tomorrow is Christmas. I hate to be a Grinch, but it has been very difficult to get into the Christmas spirit this year - mainly due to my new job. I didn't sing in a caroling group or work for Polar Express. I didn't sing in the Victorian Christmas Feast or Messiah. It has been quite the bummer. In addition, I haven't been home for Christmas since 2007, so I am extremely homesick. Don't get me wrong, I am thankful for life, love, friends, family, a job, a roof over my head, and many other things, but something this year is missing.
Regardless, I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas Eve into Christmas Day!
