Surprise! It snowed even when they said we would get none. Made for a slushy drive to work this morning.
Got home, changed out of uniform, and headed to Mystic to meet up with my buddy Stacy, who I haven't seen amazingly, since 2007. Her boyfriend is from CT, so she is in town visiting with his family. We had lunch at Mystic Pizza and then walked around the downtown area for a bit. Her boyfriend promises it won't be another 5 years 'til we meet again! Who knew we would both fall for New England boys?!?!?!
After our short visit I got home and took a nice nap. Headed over to the in-laws for dinner and a visit, then headed back home. My tummy has been bothering me tonight. I think all the rich foods I have been eating all week have finally caught up to me ... and it isn't over yet. Another get together tomorrow night!
