Sooooooo tired. My morning started at 4am, so I could get to Worcester by 6:45am for a day on set of the new Tom Hanks film Captain Phillips. Upon arrival, my car went from Rhode Island to Vermont with stickers and tags. Then I sat in my car for 6 hours during the first scene. After an hour lunch we returned for scene 2 where I became a "news photographer". We spent the next 6 hours in the cold and wind attempting to look like it was a warm summer day. By the end of the day I could barely feel my hands. They were completely numb. But, I did have a quick run in with Tom Hanks. VERY COOL. And Captain Phillips' family was on set, in addition to using the original plane Captain Phillips arrived back on - even the original pilot was a part of the filming. So though I was freezing my butt off, it was a pretty cool experience.
Back to reality tomorrow.
