My school had a faculty meeting this afternoon to discuss hiring for next year. All offers were supposed to go out March 28. One teacher stopped by my room and said "are you coming back next year?" My response: "I am only a sub. I can't even apply for the position yet, so I have no idea." Her response: "that's messed up. this whole school system is backwards." Yup. Exactly why I have no intentions of applying.
SAG and AFTRA merged. We are one - effective immediately. So, what's the pay scale now, considering they are different. And do we get a new card immediately? And if not, which union number am I supposed to use?
I bought my mega millions ticket - $1. $650 million and the last two large jackpot winners were in Rhode Island - everything comes in threes, right?
