What a jam-packed Saturday and lovely way to begin my spring break!
This morning my husband and I went to Louis Family Restaurant, as seen on Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives. I had a delicious plate of Granola Pancakes and my husband ordered the Drunk Johnny Omelette, which has corn-beef hash, onions, and cheese - also quite yummy. We will definitely be returning.
After, we drove to Westport to fill our growlers from Buzzards Bay Brewing: Just Beer. Always a treat. Next, we drove to New Bedford to catch up on our wine club purchases and taste the new red wine release at Travessia.
Arrived home in time for the Caps vs. Bruins game, but had to cut my viewing time short to teach 2 voice lessons. Was pleased to come back and find a win by the Caps. GO CAPS!!!!!
Met with a new voice student today. He is transgender, so comes to me with a very lovely "high voice" but knows as he continues to take testosterone his voice might change. This will take some research on my part, but I think it will be an interesting development for both of us. I look forward to yet another challenge. This, by the way, will mark my 10th student - which was my goal by June. So now I am upping my goal to 15 by the end of summer and 20 by the end of the year.
