Visited the ENT this morning (they were running an hour late into appointments! argh!) to find out there is absolutely nothing wrong with me - except for the major allergies. I asked about my sinus infections and bronchitis that I keep getting. He checked my nose and said it looked perfect. Nothing wrong. Just getting germs from the kids. I asked about the phlegm in my throat. He said water. Drink lots of water. Apparently, the nasal spray is not creating it. I want a second opinion, because none of this seems normal to me.
After, I got together with my scene partner for acting to finalize our 2nd performance for class tomorrow. I admit, it would be much better if more of my lines were off-book, but I do the best I can with script in hand. My focus has turned to working monologues for our final exam. Plus, I have 2 auditions Friday to prepare for - 1 of which I will use a monologue. Also, a theatre company has asked me to submit a video audition which needs to be sent before Friday. eek!
Once again enjoyed the 80 degree weather for a little while and then taught 2 lessons.
A friend of mine is leaving her part-time job (with a promotional company) next month and she spoke to her boss about training me and letting me take over when she is gone. It doesn't pay much, and the hours fluctuate, but it's something and something is better than nothing. And it will allow me to build my voice studio over the summer.
