Ah, Spring Break. How I love you!
This morning I had breakfast with a friend at The Cozy Grill. By now you have figured out I LOVE breakfast. This would be the perfect way to start the day since this afternoon I went to the dentist to have a cavity filled. With half my mouth being numbed, I couldn't eat anything until dinner tonight.
Stopped by WalMart to pick up plastic Easter eggs. Made "Shakey Eggs" for my classroom. Hand made instruments are sometimes the best. For under $3, I was able to make a class set - plastic eggs filled with rice. Simple and I know the kids will love them! Also picked up some candy for an upcoming lesson. Candy + Kids = Motivation
Spent the rest of the day enjoying the weather. Over 80 degrees today, it feels more like summer vacation. Speaking of which, I am desperately seeking employment post-June 14. If you have any leads for a person who has a variety of skills to share with the world, let me know. I will accept a short-term contract, but obviously prefer a long-term position with benefits. Experience as a manager of a small team, project-planning, customer service, call center, working alone and with others, and am computer savvy.
