I have 17 private students now. Only 3 from the goal I never thought I would accomplish. Let's see how long these students will stay with me. I really should get back into voice lessons myself - I think it might help me as a teacher.

A US Navy Band group came to play a concert at school today. What a treat! The kids all thought I was the one who invited them. They had so many questions for me and were super excited to hear this New Orleans style brass band play. I was a proud music teacher when the kids identified the Sousaphone!
