Started the morning with beignets and cafe au lai at the local joint: Coffee Call.
Then, it was time for Anne and Gerald's 4th Annual Crawfish Boil!!!! After all these years of seeing pictures and hearing about it, I finally am in town to attend. This event was almost as big as the Mardi Gras celebration mom hosts every year. Who wouldn't want to show up for a full day of crawfish eating?!?!?
I have never seen so much crawfish in my life. 430 lbs to be exact. Plus corn and potatoes. I am stuffed. It was definitely a full day of eating for me, but absolutely worth it.
