Attempted to sleep in even though the cat was meowing and scratching at the bedroom door. Eventually got out of bed and made omelettes for breakfast. This morning I also received a "callback" for a feature film starring Kate Winslet. They would like to meet me Tuesday night for further consideration. My callback for 'Titanic' is supposed to also happen Tuesday night. That hasn't been made official, so I went ahead and confirmed the interview, then emailed the theatre letting them know the situation. I hope I made the right decision.
Ran some errands with the husband and then headed to Brooklyn Coffee & Tea House in Providence for a table read of a new play. What a nice bunch of people who gathered and a good script to boot. It is definitely something I would like to do more often as it helps with my cold reading skills. The play will be staged eventually, so here's hope they might want to use me in the future.
All 3 of my lessons were cancelled tonight, so I can rest for a bit while my husband fixes dinner on the grille. Not sure what the rest of the evening will bring ...
