Didn't actually teach today until noon because teachers were out and classes were split. That was a nice break for sure, but the kids, no surprise, were bonkers! Let's hope the rest of the week goes smoothly.
Had a new voice student today. He is my age and has never sung before. This will be yet another challenge for me as teaching a male voice is a lot different than a female voice - at least for me.
Had a lovely dinner at Ruby Tuesday - the Lavender Lemon Drop is an amazing drink under 150 calories. I recommend! Followed by Phantom of the Opera's sequel: Love Never Dies on the big screen. Andrew Lloyd Weber called this his best work. I would have to disagree. Though an interesting story and good music, I wouldn't call it his best (he would disagree). I don't think the music was as complex as the original Phantom. I do think it is worth seeing if you are a fan of Phantom. It is a beautiful work.
