January 25

This afternoon I interviewed for a full-time entry-level management position at a company based here in Rhode Island. It was a breeze after the 3-hour process I went through yesterday. What I love about this position is it uses a lot of skills I already have and enjoy. It is also something new, different, and interesting, with lots of room for growth in the company. But, while it seems like a great position, the downfall is there is a 99% chance of relocation after training. They offer a fantastic relocation package, but then what? Relocating it HUGE. I would have to LOVE my job to do it, but as a new position, who's to say I will? Training doesn't begin until June and there are still a few more interviews and screenings I will have to go through before even considering the position, so there is tons of time to continue thinking about my options.
