January 30

Another post about how exhausted I am. My typical day consists of leaving the house at 8am and heading to one of two schools in which I then spend time setting up and preparing for the day. I teach from 9am - 3:20pm with two 30 minute breaks scattered somewhere in the day. At 3:20, I promptly jump into my car, drive home and prepare to teach a voice lesson (and sometimes I drive to the voice students home). Around 6pm I am home and can breathe for enough time to eat dinner and then it is time to lesson plan for the next day (8 classes). Why not lesson plan the entire week? I DO that on the weekend, but the plans change rapidly each day, so I have to adjust. Around 9pm (sometimes 8pm if I am lucky), I am finally able to stop and "relax" but I am so tired, I usually write my blog and then head to bed. Then it starts all over again .............

So, suggestions on how I might be able to up my energy from day to day? I used to go to the gym daily, but I just don't have the time to do it now. I take plenty of vitamins, drink coffee in the morning and orange juice in the afternoon. I snack on almonds & granola, and drink plenty of water. What do you do to not feel so exhausted? I am tired of being tired. It's bringing me down.
